Vegetable Tikkis

Vegetable Tikkis are a very popular and delicious any time snack made with vegetables and delicately seasoned with spices and herbs. They are crispy on the outside and soft inside. Serve them as an appetizer or a side dish. They make a delicious patty for a veggie slider or a filling for a sandwich or a wrap.

For best results always use clean oil. Dirty oil will make Tikkis dark. The finished product should look golden brown in color.
Do not thaw Monsoon Kitchens (MK) Vegetable Tikkis.
Fry 20 to 30 Vegetable Tikkis at 350° F for 4-6 minutes until golden brown and internal temperature reaches 165° F.
Remove Tikkis intermittently from oil to prevent darkening.
Try one Tikki to make sure they are heated thoroughly.
Serve them hot with MK Tamarind and Cilantro Chutneys.

Do not thaw MK Vegetable Tikkis.
Preheat oven at 350° F.
Place frozen Tikkis on a greased sheet pan and lightly spray with oil.
Heat at 350° F for 10-15 minutes.
Try one Tikki to make sure they are heated thoroughly.
